prompt: Imagine your life as an "I.R.L. streamer." Write briefly about your stream. What do you do? How do you perform?

If I were to be an IRL Streamer, I’d stream my art-making process and career exploration pursuits. This is probably one of the more interesting and unique aspects of my life. I have a variety of passions and interests within the creative field, so my design projects vary in kind as well as my career pursuits. As I do calligraphy for weddings, design freelance logos, photography and videography, doodle during class, teach hand-lettering workshops at Paper Source, and work a part-time design job with Residential Life, my life is constantly saturated with design-y things. On top of that, I’m looking for jobs in the graphic design field, but also considering admin jobs, event planning jobs, going into the wedding industry, and still maintaining a freelance side hustle.
It’s one of my mottos to create constantly. Sometimes I get lazy and waste time doing other things which aren’t creatively helpful. This turns into a slump that sometimes doesn’t let up for days or weeks.
The performance is a normal, everyday, life: recorded and broadcasted to keep ME accountable for being productive and creative every day. Its goal is to inspire other creatives, whether professional or just starting out, to create constantly as well.
I’d film it by setting up a variety of phone stands and tripods in the areas that I commonly work, and I’d talk to viewers and answer questions live as I do my work. It’d be much more casual than staged, and I’d love to show them that anyone can create if they put time and dedication into it.
